Andrea and Harald made our stay at Kappsfarm unforgettable. Everything was fantastic and we definitely plan to return. Thank you for such a wonderful and restful time.

Our group had stayed at other locations in the Windhoek area previously and were interested in trying a new location. In short we were ALL extremely pleased upon arrival to find the lodge just as described on the Kapps Valley page! Warmly greeted by Harold and Andrea…. Our stay only got better with a fantastic lunch, nature walk up the mountain, gorgeous Sundowner, mouth watering dinner of local wild game…..delectable dessert!….astonishing night stars on the veranda and finally great rest in the well suited accommodations!!!

Andrea est une hôte charmante et prévenante. Nous avons passé 2 jours magnifiques avant le retour au pays. Le calme et la sérénité du lieu, le charme du logement, l'accueil VIP... Tout était parfait ! Merci pour cette parenthèse enchantée.

Pas facile à trouver mais très bonne surprise. Accueil chaleureux nos hôtes ont tout fait pour répondre à nos attentes et nous être agréables. A recommander pour plus d’une nuit. Vraiment génial. Chambre hyper spacieuse et bien équipée.

Perfect last night in Namibia
Positioned close to the airport, but amazingly peaceful and scenic location. Andrea and Harold were such fantastic hosts. The presentation of everything was wonderful, food excellent. Parking was close to our accommodation which was great as we had a lot of luggage. The room is modern, light and airy with picture windows framing the lovely view. Very clean and well equipped throughout. Lovely big level access shower. Split level with a very comfortable bed upstairs and bathroom downstairs. We really appreciated the extension on our room as this enabled us to leave for our night flight home refreshed. We would definitely stay here again, so glad we found it and thankyou so much Andrea and Harold for a perfect end to our Namibia holiday.

Perfekter Anfang oder Ende einer Namibiareise
Sehr schöne Anlage, mitten in der Natur, völlige Stille und Ruhe, Klimaanlage und Minibar vorhanden, tolle nette deutschsprachige Gastgeber, wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt, Dusche heiß und mit Power, das tägliche abwechslungsreiche Dinner(4 Gänge) wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt extrem lecker, nur etwas Zuviel von der Menge her ; ))
Frühstück hat uns immer den Tag versüßt und somit begann der Tag mit frischer Energie.Zum Airport sind es nur 15 Minuten, trotzdem ist kein Fluglärm zu hören, 0,0, absolute Ruhe….
Viel Liebe zum Detail in der Gesamten Unterkunft.
Wir können uns nur bedanken und jedem einen Aufenthalt im Kappsvalley empfehlen.

Fantastic stay
We booked Kappsvalley due to a significant flight delay, but our holiday in Namibia couldn't start better! What a wonderful place, conveniently located between the airport en town centre. Thank you Harald, Andrea, Frans and the lovely dog for your warm welcome, excellent 3-course dinner and beautiful apartment!

COME A CASA!
Struttura immersa nel parco con bellissimi mini appartamenti su due livelli. Un piacere passeggiare all’interno del parco avvistando numerosi animali. Eccellente cena preparata dalla signora Andrea.Su richiesta servizio navetta per aereoporto. Era il nostro ultimo giorno in Namibia ed è stato bello sentirsi come già a casa.

A fantastic location between the airport and Windhoek with only the sounds of nature
This was a super location, so quiet and well situated between the airport and Windhoek. There were also wild animals around to be watched. You could relax watching sunrise (even from out of your bed) and sunset. The hosts put a lot of effort in making your stay as comfortable as possible. A lot of good advise on what to do and where to get your necessities or places to visit. Also a nice environment to make a stroll. Wherever these hosts go (in the future) they will make sure their guests get a wonderful experience. Thanks a lot for your hospitality.

Kappsvalley, what an amazing place. From the moment Zenn and I got there until we left 2 days later we were treated like royalty. I would advise this Lodge to anyone and everyone. The staff are the friendliest people I have ever come across. The food is out of this world. The friendliness, love and compassion is unbelieveable. Thank you Harald and Andrea for a wonderful break away. You will definately see us again.

We choose Kappsvalley for easy access to the airport but it offers so much more. The location allows to to feel you are still in the bush and close to nature. The rooms are modern, clean and perfectly equipped for self catering but do yourself a favour and enjoy the home cooked food by Andrea - its world class. Andrea and Harald are superb hosts - friendly and knowledgeable.
Booking online and general communications are fast and any extra requests are caterered to.
We would definitely return on our next trip through Windhoek.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at KappsValley Lodge. The lodge itself is about a 10 or 15 minute drive up a pretty rough road, once you enter through the gate onto the property. We had the apartment, which was incredibly spacious and had lovely views over the surrounding area. Harald and Andrea were very friendly hosts. Harald was eager to share tips for our upcoming time in Etosha, and Andrea was the most incredible cook - the food was absolutely delicious. We would not hesitate to recommend KappsValley Lodge to others

Wonderful place to stay, Harold & Andrea are superb hosts. The food is delicious, beautiful room, relaxing & quiet with lovely scenery for walks, night time fire pit.... We would have loved to stay longer!

A place to find yourself
The Food, Rooms & Nature The location is so peaceful - Close to Windhoek and the airport. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Complete relaxation. Andrea and Harold are super hosts that made my stay exceptional. I will return!

Kappsvalley Lodge is the perfect overnight stay for those who like to be close to Windhoek, but also not far from the International Airport Hosea Kutako. Although the lodge is not far from Windhoek you are still in nature and have a wonderful view.

A gorgeous home away from home
It's the kind of place that you enter for the first time, and you already feel home. The location is stunningly beautiful and completely quiet, even though you're only 20-30 minutes drive from the city centre and a short way from the international airport. The rooms and interiors are beautifully and comfortably created, not overdone but just right. Lovely spaces, views from the windows. The outdoor areas and shared facilities are gorgeous and comfortable. The food is great and diverse, from breakfast to dinner. And last, but not at all least - the hosts/owners are absolutely lovely people, communicative and very interesting to speak with, and do an amazing job.

We had an amazing stay at Kappsvalley Lodge. Andrea & Harald are fabulous hosts, it felt like home to us! Andrea is an excellent chef also, so we truly enjoyed her 3-course dinners. Our room was stunning, very well equipped and felt overall very exclusive with the loft bed.
We will definitely come back!

Our stay at Kappsvalley was world-class. The service beyond expectation. Very friendly and relaxing. I will recommend it to anybody. Super!!!. The view in the morning when you wake-up is picture-perfect. The food is excellent.

Had a great weekend with my girlfriend at Kappsvalley. The room was very neat and hygienic. So close to Windhoek yet the farmy feeling gives you a sense of being far away from the city. The hosts/managers were also friendly and hospitable. We will be back soon.

Had the most special city getaway at Kappsfarm. We spent two nights at the farm/ guesthouse and I must say that everything was excellent. The location of Kappsfarm is super close to Windhoek as well as the international airport.
The managers Andrea & Harald went the extra mile by providing a fabulous fresh breakfast and dinner for us. The rooms are comfy and the surroundings great for a hike. I would definitely recommend this guest house to others especially if you have just arrived in Windhoek and would like to have some relaxing days before your journey through the country begins.

Superhosts, bestens zwischen Windhoek und Flughafen gelegen. Gefallen · Lage, Service und Zimmer waren sensationell. Harald und Andrea haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Wunderbar Gefallen
Wunderschön gelegen, sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtete Zimmer mit Terrasse und herrlichem Blick. Andrea und Harald sind perfekte Gastgeber, Andrea kocht und backt super gut. Service, Menüs und Nachmittagskaffee haben 5 Sterne verdient!!!!Auch das Ambiente im Haupthaus hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es hat was vom Charme aus „Jenseits von Afrika“. Bei unserer nächsten Reise nach Namibia kommen wir garantiert wieder vorbei. Vielen Dank euch beiden für die unvergesslichen Tage.

Andrea's Essen war unglaublich lecker. Andrea macht das Gemüse selbst, so dass Sie frisches Gemüse essen können und das Frühstück ist Marmelade und Muffins sind handgemacht, so dass es köstlich und gesund ist. Bevor die Morgensonne aufging, sprang mir ein schwacher roter Himmel in die Augen, als ich im Bett aufwachte, und ich war erstaunt, wie schön es war. Ich war bewegt. Vom Fenster im zweiten Stock genießen Sie im Schlaf einen herrlichen Blick auf den Berg. Hier können Sie eine Tasse Tee genießen, sich entspannen während Sie die wunderschöne Landschaft auf der Veranda genießen. Ich denke, es gibt selten eine Gelegenheit, ein Hospitality Inn mit solch herzlichen Gerichten zu treffen. Wenn Sie nach Namibia kommen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, mindestens eine Nacht hier zu verbringen.

Wir haben (leider) nur eine Nacht in Kappsvalley verbracht, aber es war wunderbar. Andrea und Harald sind äußerst nette und bemühte Gastgeber, die Zimmer sind sehr schön, groß und geräumig mit einem tollen Blick in die Landschaft. Sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück ließen keinen Wunsch offen und haben vorzüglich geschmeckt! Beim nächsten Mal bleiben wir vor dem Rückflug sicher ein paar Tage länger hier, um nochmal so richtig schön in der Natur zu entspannen.
